A tribute to Ms. Mori Reina, our good friend and chef owner of Izakaya Yokaban in Kagoshima, who came up with this delicious recipe. The original dish by Reina uses locally made thick and creamy tofu, which unfortunately is unavailable in Singapore. Be sure to visit Izakaya Yokaban in Kagoshima to try out the original spiced garlic tofu when air travel resumes!
